About Us
About the Ukwa Carnival
Ukwa Carnival kicked off in 2017 in the heart of Abia State, and today it’s the largest cultural Xperience in South East Nigeria, drawing over 10,000 attendees from across the country.
More than just an event, Ukwa Carnival is a vibrant explosion of music, dance, fashion, and flavour straight from the heart of South East Naija!
It’s bold, unapologetic, and built for a generation that celebrates where they’re from and where they’re
going.
We’re not just creating a carnival. We’re curating a movement — one that amplifies South East culture, connects people, and lights up the streets with unforgettable vibes.
Ukwa Carnival is culture remixed.

made.
Vision

Why the Festival Matters
Ukwa Carnival is more than colour and music, it’s a force for community transformation.
Every edition brings new faces, new businesses, and new possibilities. Local vendors thrive, artisans find markets, and the community blossoms with renewed energy.
It’s not just about celebration; it’s about building a stronger, more connected Abia State.
